Acne is a very irritating skin condition to have. Most acne sufferers have great difficulty rid of acne. They use many different acne products which just don’t seem to work. Their complexion never seems to improve. But wait. I am about to share with you four easy tips that will help you get rid of acne. Follow these habits diligently and your skin condition will definitely improve. You will also be less prone to acne outbreaks.

1) Use face wash every day

This tip is so obvious, but it is the most important. Washing your face should be a daily routine. It gets rid of bacteria and oil that has gathered on your face. If you don’t wash your face, your pores may become clogged, leading to a pimple. Eventually, acne may break out. It is recommended that you wash your face at least twice a day, unless you have dry skin. In which case you should wash once a day.

2) Don’t eat too much spicy and oily food

Yes, there isn’t enough research yet to prove that these foods contribute to acne. However, unless you are seriously addicted to spice and deep fried goodies, this habit won’t be difficult to cultivate, would it? The reason this tip is on the list is because many people do break out after eating these types of food. Besides, oily food is bad for your health and should be avoided even if you are not suffering from acne.

3) Have 8 glasses of water daily

Water is an essential intake for all living things. Without enough water, our bodies will not be able to function at its optimal level. Also, a lack of water in your body is a major cause of acne outbreaks. This is because water aids in the removal of toxins from the body. It is very important that you drink at least 8 glasses of water every day if you want to stay acne-free.

4) Avoid touching your face

Contact between the hands and acne infected areas should be avoided at all costs. Your hands are a hotspot for bacteria. By touching your face, you are spreading bacteria there. Since acne is caused by dirt clogging your pores, you should keep your face clean at all times. Use a facial tissue if you need to scratch or wipe something off your face.

These are four simple tips that can benefit anyone suffering from acne. If you want to improve your complexion, you have to be disciplined. As long as you practise the tips that I have discussed, and you will definitely see improvements.

Learning About Acne Free In 3 Days | Acene

Chris Gibson talks about a 3 day detox-cure in his book Acne Free in 3 Days. The book has been in news since it was published with reviews ranging from very positive to doubtful results. As a chronic acne sufferer, I bought a copy of the book anyway as I thought that it was definitely worth a try.

A 3 days plan to help one to get rid of the body toxins is not only quick, the book showed that it was also not as complicated as it sounds. And I found that it did work for me. In fact only after trying for two days, I noticed improvement in my skin. It was much clearer and the ed spots were gone.

Within a week the acne was completely eliminated. However, the scars are there and I guess it would take some more time for it to go. The book, Acne Free in 3 Days adopts a comprehensive, clear and step by step way to explain the method and that makes it a rather foolproof model of treatment.

It also does not force one to waste time uselessly reading about general facts which is already known about acne. It just highlights on the treatment and cure. Some people criticize the book on not containing adequate information about the ingredients used in the treatment for acne.

However, in my eyes that is unnecessary information as the book uses a much focused approach towards eliminating the problem of acne. And all the steps needed for getting rid of the acne is described in the book quite well without getting into any superfluous information.

Some others believe that the title is not right but as a user I would suggest that it is best to try the method used in the book yourself, as the title also adopts a to the point approach. It is not trying to mislead anyone. However, there are some places where the book could have improved itself.

As it deals with the food which should be eaten in moderation to stay free from acne, it should also have given more details about it. In order to go for lifestyle changes, one does require more information and data to be convinced.

In nutshell, as every book can be criticized, this book too has its plus and minus points. However, it is a must for acne sufferers as it does gives the a sure way of treating the acne. It has no side effects which is a blessing.

Sandlewood and Rose water.

Not only is this treament helpful but it also smells divine. Combine the sandlewood and the rose water together until you have created a smooth paste. Apply the paste to the scarred areas and wait for the paste to dry on your skin. Once the paste has dried rinse it off with warm water and softly pat dry with a soft towel.

Papaya Skin.

Using the inside of the papaya skin, place it on your face or the affected area and allow it to sit for at least one hour. After this time has passed remove the skins and rinse your face. Due to the time it takes for this treament it is better for use at night when preparing for bed.

Aloe Vera Gel.

Not only does aloe vera gel aid in the healing of scars but it also assits in fading them. There are many different types available on the market and each one will have a different level of effect but the best thing to do in my opinion is to cut some fresh aloe vera leaves and squeeze it out yourself.

Foods That Cause Acne : Fact Or Fiction | Acene

Acne is a skin condition that affects a lot of people today, not just teenagers undergoing puberty and hormonal changes, but also adults. Although it is true that hormonal fluctuation in the body is the leading reason for acne, diet additionally takes on a component. Consuming the wrong types of food not only leads to conditions like obesity and diabetes, but additionally generates an imbalance in the body.

It would however, be a mistake to think that you can cure acne by simply cutting out acne causing foods; you need to take a holistic approach to resolve the condition. It is, however, the first step in the right direction.

Foods that Cause Acne #1 : Junk Foods
Fatty foods create blood sugar instability by making the levels rush up and then plummet just as fast, leading to severe hormonal reactions and consequently, acne. Fatty foods also slow down the flow of nutrients and oxygen to your body cells which aggravates acne.

Refined carbohydrates and sugar are also culprits. Generally, food that’s “white” has had all its nutrients stripped away and the body needs those vitamins and minerals to function and to give you a clear complexion. These types of foods also raise blood sugar as fatty foods do. Sugar aggravates acne due to the fact harmful bacteria within the stomach live off of it and generate toxic materials. Artificial sweeteners are even worse as they also contain harmful chemicals.

Processed foods are refined making digestion difficult, causing allergies, irritation and also aggravating acne. Their ingredients, flavors, colours, and preservatives also cause them to become contributors to acne.

Coffee, tea, chocolate, and energy drinks give you that sometimes needed energy boost but play havoc with your skin. Caffeine has been proven to be an acne trigger by making the adrenalin glands secretes hormones that give you the buzz. These hormones, essentially stress your body badly, affecting not only your skin but also your health. Caffeine also disrupts regular sleep patterns and prevents the attainting of “deep sleep” during which the body engages in restoration and cleansing.

Foods that Cause Acne #2 : Natural Baddies
Not many people are aware that the human body is not designed to digest cow’s (or any other animals’) milk. Everyone is allergic to milk, but the difference lies as to whether the reaction is visible. The digestive system lacks the required enzymes to digest milk, and the immune system produces a response that can result in oxidative anxiety and inflammation, as a result acne.

Further, homogenized, and pasteurized milk cover the lining of the small intestine with a mucous coat that inhibits assimilation of much needed nutrients. Milk making cows are also given antibiotics and hormones to raise production and these dangerous chemical compounds get into the body as you drink milk, or eat other dairy food like cheese, ice-cream which are also fatty.

Be wary of animal proteins which are extremely acidic and provide conditions that permit growth of acne causing bacteria. In addition, processed meat has sodium nitrite and sulfur which are all harmful to the body and in the long run impair your skin’s health.

Slowly reducing or moderating these acne causing food is the 1st huge step towards taking control of your health and aiding your skin.
